Ahh... so many questions, yet so little time !!!
Actually, I enjoy when customers ask about my work. In some cases, certain questions tend to appear on a more regular basis. Feel free to browse through these Frequently Asked Questions. Still don't have an answer to your questions? No Problem! Please fill out the form below and I'll gladly answer them promptly!
01
How long will it take to get my goalie mask painted ?
Depending on the complexity of your design, you're looking at 7 to 14 days once the design is finalized and approved by you on paper.
02
Do I have to purchase the helmet first, then ship it to you ?
I do not supply the goalie masks. The choice of make and model is a very personal one and depends on your budget and your level of play. I believe this decision should be left to you!

04
Can a goalie mask be re-painted ?
Absolutely! Every mask, be it old or new, gets its clear coat sanded off by hand as to not damage the integrity of the shell. Depending on what your particular mask is made of, I then prep with adhesion promoter, then apply the appropriate primer, sealer, artwork and coats of clear coat. Just make sure there's no structural damage to your mask before painting!
05
what about the inside of the mask ?
Depending on the make and model of your mask, certain padding can be removed. Even so, we tape all inside of the mask to make sure no paint, adhesion promoter or clear coat makes it to your inner shell. If the padding cannot be removed, we will meticulously tape all of the padding, including vent holes, to ensure once again that no paint, adhesion promoter or clear coat ever makes contact with your padding. This ensures a nice, clean look!
How is the artwork protected?
All Maverick Airbrush projects are professionally clear coated with TAMCO HIGH IMPACT clear. Made for goalie masks. 2 coats, then wet sanded then 2 more coats. Wet sanded agaim and polished!
